Austen House is located in the Newton le Willows area in the borough of St Helens, and easily accessed via the A580 and the M6 motorway. The Registered Manager Debbie Callan has a wide range of experience working in the care industry. Debbie joined the organisation in 2010. Prior to joining the organisation, she worked as a teaching assistant with S.E.N. children in both primary and secondary educational settings.Debbie has experience of working with EDB CYP in an inclusion unit in a mainstream setting, supporting young people individually and as a group.Debbie is qualified at level 2 in counselling skills.She has continued to develop her skills and knowledge within the organisation and was promoted to senior RCCO in 2012 and promoted to Assistant Manager in January 2016 and then promoted to registered Manager Debbie’s qualifications are: Diploma in Childcare and Education Level 3, also a Diploma in Social Care and Young People Level 3, Management, and Leadership level 3, mentoring level 3 and Level 5 Diploma in CYP leadership and Management.
